Assembly

The Galactic Tank Force Deluxe Edition is designed to make a big statement, and while the cabinet includes some extra visual flair (like tank tread side armor), the overall assembly process is very manageable. You can expect to complete the full setup in about 45 to 60 minutes.

Because this machine is a heavy pinball unit, we strongly recommend two adults for safe unboxing, lifting, and positioning.

Main Setup Steps:

  1. Unbox the machine by laying the shipping box on its side and removing the straps, foam, and corner guards.

  2. Install the legs -> front first, then rear. Using the included bolts and a 5/16" hex wrench.

  3. Raise and secure the backbox, locking it into place and tightening with hex bolts.

  4. Open the coin door, unlock the lockdown bar, and remove the glass to access and remove any internal shipping materials.

  5. Install the tank treads (included with the Deluxe Edition) by:

    • Attaching LED cables

    • Securing plastic cable covers

    • Mounting treads to the cabinet using carriage bolts and nuts

    • Connecting the LED controller and adapter for power

  6. Adjust the leg levelers to get the machine set at the proper 6.5° playfield incline.

  7. Plug in and power on -> the machine comes with all necessary software pre-installed and ready to go.

No advanced configuration or technical setup is required unless you choose to update the code or customize the lighting effects.

Warranty

All new American Pinball machines purchased through our store are covered by the American Pinball Limited Warranty.

Warranty Coverage

  • Materials & Workmanship – Covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal home use.

  • Parts Coverage:

    • General parts: 90 days from the date of shipment.

    • LCD monitor: 1 year from the date of shipment.

What’s Not Covered

  • Labor costs for installation or service.

  • Shipping or transportation costs.

  • Normal wear-and-tear items (rubber rings, bulbs, plastics, posts, etc.).

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, improper installation, or accidents.

  • Damage during shipping (claims for transit damage must be filed with the carrier).

Warranty Registration

To activate the warranty, the purchaser must register their product on American Pinball’s website within 15 days of receiving the machine.

How to Request Warranty Service

If you experience a warranty issue:

  1. Contact our Customer Service Team. We’ll help troubleshoot and determine if the issue is covered.

  2. We will assist you in opening a warranty claim with American Pinball via their service portal or by calling 1-833-API-HELP (274-4357).

  3. American Pinball may ship you a replacement part or request the defective part be returned (shipping prepaid).

  4. In rare cases, the machine may need to be returned for service.

Returns

  • The machine must be unopened and in its original packaging.

  • A restocking fee may apply, as determined by American Pinball.

Order Cancellations

  • Orders can be canceled for a full refund only if the machine has not yet shipped.

Shipping Damage

  • If your machine arrives with visible damage, note it on the delivery receipt and take photos immediately. Contact us within 48 hours so we can assist with a damage claim and arrange a resolution.

Free Shipping

Delivery times for American Pinball machines typically range from 2 to 4 weeks, depending on your location and shipping volume, with free curbside freight delivery anywhere in the 48 contiguous U.S. states.

All machines ship via LTL (Less Than Truckload) Freight on a pallet, with lift-gate service included in your free shipping. The freight carrier will contact you ahead of time to schedule a delivery appointment. We recommend having at least two people available at delivery to help uncrate and move the machine into place.
