ECO, PRO and Falcon: How the Paradox Cabinets Compare

Paradox builds three tiers on the same plywood cabinet. The ECO is the entry tier, the PRO adds the premium controls and display options, and the Falcon is the fully loaded flagship. The Falcon is built as a 4-player XL cabinet only, so for a two-player upright the choice is between the ECO and the PRO.

The Tier Most Players Choose

The PRO is built from the same 3/4-inch CNC-milled plywood as the flagship Falcon, on the same jigs, in the same Houston workshop. What you are paying for over the ECO is what sits in and on the cabinet: the trackball and spinner, the light guns, the pinball buttons, the wireless keyboard, the storage drawer and the monitor upgrade path.

A Control Panel That Plays Everything

Commercial-grade IL joysticks and pre-programmed RGB LED buttons handle the arcade classics, the backlit RGB trackball covers Centipede and Golden Tee, the analog spinner takes care of Tempest and Arkanoid, and full-size flipper buttons on the cabinet sides mean pinball tables play the way they should. The buttons light to match whichever game you have selected.

32-Inch Display, With Room to Upgrade

The standard panel is a 32-inch 1920x1080 16:9 LED behind a 1/4-inch tempered glass bezel. If you want arcade-accurate timing, the G-Sync monitor upgrade removes the tearing and judder emulators are prone to, and a 35-inch 4:3 Arcooda panel is available if you would rather have the original aspect ratio of the classics.

Storage Drawer With a Kaizen Foam Insert

A CNC-milled drawer under the control panel holds the keyboard, the light guns and the spare parts in a cut foam insert, so everything has a place and nothing rattles around the game room. It is one of those details you only appreciate after living with a cabinet that does not have it.

Light Guns for the Shooters

Dual advanced recoil light guns bring the arcade gallery games home, and they kick back with every shot the way the originals did. Point Blank, Police Trainer and the House of the Dead lineup all play as intended.

Custom Marquee, Kickplate and Art

A large custom backlit marquee tops the cabinet and full-colour vinyl art wraps it in whatever theme you like. If you want the cabinet to move as well as glow, the LCD marquee and the LCD video kickplate are available as upgrades and play animated artwork that changes with the game.

Wi-Fi With Remote Support

The PRO connects over Wi-Fi, which is how you download new titles straight to the machine, and how Paradox can dial in remotely if anything ever needs attention. No shipping the cabinet back, no forum threads.

Built to Move, Built to Last

Heavy-duty leg levelers keep the cabinet steady on an uneven floor, and locking swivel casters, rear wheels and skid rails mean one person can reposition it. At 33.3 inches wide it still fits through most standard doorways.

Assembly

There is no assembly. Every Paradox cabinet leaves the Houston workshop fully built, wired, configured and tested, and it ships by freight on a pallet.

At 33.3 inches wide the PRO 2 Players fits through most standard interior doorways, but measure your delivery route - hallways, stairwells and turns - before the truck arrives.

Once it is in position, level it with the heavy-duty leg levelers, plug it into a standard household outlet and press the power button. The front end loads straight into the game library, so the first match can start within minutes of the truck leaving.
