TRANSFORMERS: More Than Meets the Eye Pro is Stern's 2026 cornerstone title built squarely on the 1984 animated series — not the movies.
Players join Optimus Prime and the Autobots in a running fight to stop Megatron and the Decepticons from stealing Earth's energy, conquering Cybertron and dominating the universe.
Missions are drawn from major story arcs of the original show, with authentic video clips playing on an 18.5" full HD display, and the game is anchored by the two voices that started it all: Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime and Frank Welker as both Megatron and Soundwave.
Stern Pinball: The Industry Leader
Stern Pinball is a leading name in the pinball industry, renowned for its innovative designs and high-quality machines.
Founded by Gary Stern, the company has a long-standing reputation for combining classic pinball gameplay with modern technology.
They are famous for their unique themes and collaborations with iconic franchises, delivering immersive experiences to fans and collectors alike.
Their commitment to craftsmanship and detail ensures that every machine is not just a game, but a work of art, making Stern a beloved brand among pinball enthusiasts worldwide.
Optimus Prime, Ready for Battle
The centrepiece of the Pro playfield is the custom sculpted Optimus Prime robot bash toy, with custom recorded speech by Peter Cullen.
Hits register on his legs, and the Optimus V.U.K. carries the ball across to the Soundwave side to lock balls, start Transformers Multiball, and feed the right flipper.

Megatron and the Drop Target Bank
On the Pro, Megatron is a static robot toy that starts missions tied to specific episodes of the TV series, with custom recorded speech by Frank Welker.
In front of him sits a three-bank of drop targets protecting the scoop and the two standup targets either side — knock the bank down to get at him.
Laser-Cut Ramps, Autobot and Decepticon
Both main ramps are metal with laser-cut faction logos: the left ramp carries the Autobot insignia and feeds the left flipper, the right ramp carries the Decepticon insignia and feeds the right flipper.
A third flipper halfway up the right side opens up the upper playfield, fed by the Grimlock crossover shot from the left.

Energon, Dinobots and Tech Specs
The Energon optical spinner builds and collects Energon Cubes used to enhance missions. Completing the Grimlock targets starts the Dinobot side missions, the Bumblebee captive ball adds enhanced scoring, and there is a physical "Add a Ball" lock post on the playfield.
Players collect Transformers Tech Spec cards on the way to a climactic showdown with Megatron.
40 Years of The Transformers: The Movie
To mark the 40th anniversary of The Transformers: The Movie, the game includes a dedicated mode built around Stan Bush's "The Touch," alongside original music from Knights of Unicron and the original first-season Transformers theme song.
Insider Connected, Cyber Coins and Head-to-Head Play
The game runs Stern's award-winning Insider Connected platform with a QR reader mounted in the bottom arch. It introduces a new Cyber Coin wallet — players earn Cyber Coins that unlock exclusive challenge modes — plus "Prime Training," a challenge mode in which the Autobots coach players through pinball fundamentals.
The Pro is the model to buy if you want the full rule set, the full shot layout and Stern's newest hardware platform at the lowest entry price — it plays the same game as the Premium and LE, with fewer moving toys.
