About the Machines
ARE THESE ORIGINAL MACHINES OR REMAKES?
These are official, licensed remakes of legendary Bally and Williams pinball machines, such as Medieval Madness (originally 1997) and Cactus Canyon (originally 1998), along with the licensed Pulp Fiction. Chicago Gaming builds them under license, faithfully recreating the original gameplay and mechanisms.
ARE THESE BRAND-NEW MACHINES?
Yes. Every machine is brand new from Chicago Gaming Company. These are not used or refurbished games.
HOW DO THE REMAKES DIFFER FROM THE ORIGINALS?
The remakes keep the original playfield layout and gameplay while upgrading the hardware for modern reliability. Depending on the model, that includes updated electronics, upgraded or full-color displays, RGB LED lighting, and one of the longest warranties in the industry. You get a classic playing experience built to last.
Editions & Differences
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE PULP FICTION SPECIAL EDITION AND THE LIMITED EDITION?
Both play the same game. The Bad Mother Flipper Limited Edition adds premium extras not found on the Special Edition: the Jack Rabbit Slim's topper, a shaker motor, interior mirror blades, a custom-sculpted Bad Mother Flipper wallet with plaque, a promotional banner, a Certificate of Authenticity signed by designer Mark Ritchie, and a longer warranty. It is limited to 1,000 machines worldwide.
WHAT IS THE CACTUS CANYON SPECIAL EDITION, AND WHAT IS THE PLUS TOPPER OPTION?
The Cactus Canyon Remake Special Edition is the standard model. A Plus Topper option is also available, which adds the Wild West Shootout topper (featuring the first mini-game ever built into a pinball topper), custom interior art blades, and a shaker motor.
WHAT MAKES THE MEDIEVAL MADNESS MERLIN EDITION SPECIAL?
The Merlin Edition is the fully loaded flagship of the Medieval Madness remake. It includes the King of Payne 3D topper, a large 19-inch XL color display with all-new HD artwork, fully interactive RGB lighting, a shaker motor, cabinet side mirrors, and matched Merlin Blue powder-coated trim.
DO THE MACHINES COME WITH A TOPPER?
The Limited and premium editions include a topper: the Pulp Fiction Bad Mother Flipper Limited Edition includes the Jack Rabbit Slim's topper, and the Medieval Madness Merlin Edition includes the King of Payne topper. The standard Special Editions do not include a topper, although the Cactus Canyon Special Edition offers a Plus Topper option that adds one.
ARE THE LIMITED EDITIONS COLLECTIBLE?
Yes. The Limited Editions are produced in strictly limited runs, and editions such as the Pulp Fiction Bad Mother Flipper Limited Edition include a signed Certificate of Authenticity. They are built to be treasured collector pieces as much as they are games to play.

ARE THESE MACHINES COIN-OPERATED OR FREE PLAY?
Both. Every machine can run on free play at home, or be set to accept coins or bills for commercial use in an arcade, bar, or entertainment venue. You can switch between the two whenever you like.
HOW MANY PLAYERS CAN PLAY?
Up to 4 players, so you can compete with friends and family.
DO THESE MACHINES NEED AN INTERNET CONNECTION?
No. These are standalone machines that are fully playable right out of the box with no internet required. Some models offer optional online connectivity for operators, but it is not needed for normal play.
WHAT KIND OF DISPLAY DO THEY HAVE?
It depends on the model. The Cactus Canyon and Medieval Madness remakes feature large full-color LCD displays with animated artwork, while the Pulp Fiction machines use retro 13-segment alphanumeric scoring displays for an authentic vintage feel. Each product page lists that model's display.
DO THE MACHINES RECEIVE SOFTWARE UPDATES?
These machines are fully playable out of the box and do not require updates or an internet connection. From time to time, Chicago Gaming releases free game code updates on their support site that owners can download and install for the latest refinements. Unlike some arcade games, there is no subscription or paid content plan.

HOW LONG UNTIL MY MACHINE SHIPS?
Delivery time depends on availability. In-stock machines typically ship within a few days to about two weeks. Limited editions, premium and topper models, and deposit or build-to-order machines are made to order and can take several weeks to a few months. We will confirm the current lead time for your specific machine after you order.
WHY DO SOME MACHINES REQUIRE A DEPOSIT?
Limited and premium editions are built to order in limited runs. A deposit reserves your build slot in the production queue, and the balance is due close to the time your machine ships.
ARE THESE MACHINES BUILT TO ORDER?
Some are. Limited and premium editions are typically built to order, while standard Special Edition units are more often available from stock and ship sooner. If timing matters for you, contact our support team and we will check the status of the model you want.
Setup, Space & Power
HOW HARD IS ASSEMBLY, AND HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
Setup is straightforward and typically takes around 20 to 30 minutes, with two people recommended. The machine arrives largely pre-assembled: you attach the legs, raise and secure the backbox, remove the shipping materials, and load the pinballs. Limited and premium editions also include installing the topper.
HOW MUCH SPACE DO I NEED, AND HOW MUCH DOES IT WEIGH?
A full-size machine is roughly 29 to 30 inches wide, 58 inches deep, and 76 inches tall with the backbox up, and weighs approximately 250 to 260 pounds. Allow extra height for models with a topper. Check each product page for that model's exact figures.
WHAT ARE THE POWER REQUIREMENTS?
These machines run on a standard 120V household outlet. No special wiring is required.

HOW IS MY MACHINE SHIPPED, AND HOW LONG DOES DELIVERY TAKE?
Your order ships free via curbside freight on a pallet, with liftgate service included, anywhere in the 48 contiguous U.S. states. The carrier will call ahead to schedule an appointment. Overall timing depends on availability, as noted in the lead time section above. We recommend having a second person available to help move the machine into place.
WHAT WARRANTY DO THESE MACHINES HAVE?
Chicago Gaming machines carry a limited warranty that varies by edition: 12 months on electronics and 6 months on mechanical parts for the Special Editions, and up to 24 months on electronics and 12 months on mechanical parts for the Limited and premium editions. CAN I RETURN MY MACHINE?
Because of their size, weight, and freight shipping, these machines are not eligible for change-of-mind returns, and orders cannot be canceled once shipped. If anything is wrong with your machine, our support team is here to help with warranty service and replacement parts. Please review your order carefully before purchasing.
CAN I USE THE MACHINE COMMERCIALLY TO EARN MONEY?
